Anne Arundel Community College’s Accounting programs will provide you with a strong foundation in tax, auditing, financial planning, forensic, governmental or managerial career paths. Accounting-based career paths are among the most in-demand and well-compensated in the professional world. At 51勛圖厙, you will be taught by certified public accountants or professionals still working in the field. Your accounting courses can prepare you for transfer to a 4-year business school, establish a bookkeeping career right now or prepare you to sit for the CPA exam. Your professors truly care about your professional development and are dedicated to helping you determine which area of accounting is ideal for you.


Credit Certificates

The following certificates prepare students for employment and/or further study.

Designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, our Financial Accounting certificate will prepare you to sit for the (CPA) Exam. You’ll take a broad range of specialty accounting courses, with the ability to choose electives in marketing, management, business law and more.

You can earn this certificate for less than $9,000

Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to sit for the and to become a full-charge bookkeeper. You can also complete this certificate in only two terms.

You can earn this certificate for less than $3,500

  • Transfer Partners

    If you're looking to earn a bachelor's degree in Accounting, you can work with our transfer advisors to transfer your credits to a four-year school. We also have partnerships and transfer agreements in place with several schools so you can easily transfer when you're ready. Transfer (or “articulation”) agreements are formal arrangements between institutions that allow certain credits to transfer seamlessly from one school to the other.
