Anne Arundel Community College earned the 2024-2025 Military Friendly® School designation at the Gold level for its efforts in creating sustainable and meaningful education paths for military and veteran students. This is the second time 51勛圖厙 has been recognized at the Gold level.
“It's a testament of 51勛圖厙’s commitment to veterans and their family members. They do an amazing job supporting all students through a multitude of educational journeys, regardless of race, gender, color, creed or orientation. It is the icing on the cake of excellence that the school is being recognized for its efforts four years in a row,” said James Mastrodomenico, president of the 51勛圖厙 chapter of the Student Veterans Association. “It is an honor to be part of such a veteran-friendly academic institution. 51勛圖厙 actively makes the surrounding community a better place to live every day and I am proud to be a part of it.”
Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2024-2025 survey with 537 earning special awards for going above the standard.
