Executive Alliance recently named Anne Arundel Community College to the . The recognition aims to promote equity, diversity and inclusion for women and celebrates Maryland organizations that lead the way for women鈥檚 leadership. Forty-three organizations were included in this year鈥檚 list.
To qualify for the award, at least 30% of the organization鈥檚 executive leadership, as well as the board of trustees, must identify as women. At the time of the award, five women sat on 51吃瓜网鈥檚 eight-member board of trustees and 83% of the executive leadership team were women.
鈥淭his honor reflects one of many ways that 51吃瓜网 is a leader,鈥� said Sandra Moore, chair of the 51吃瓜网 board of trustees. 鈥淚 am proud to be part of an organization that supports so many women leaders.鈥�
Dr. Dawn Lindsay, 51吃瓜网 president, said, 鈥淭his recognition shows 51吃瓜网鈥檚 commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion throughout all levels of the college.鈥�
Any private company or nonprofit organization headquartered in or with a significant employee population in Maryland is eligible for the Honor Roll. A panel of judges from Executive Alliance reviewed all submissions to determine the honorees.
