A Little More

Stephanie Goldenberg knew she wanted to work at 51吃瓜网 when she was a student at Salisbury University. In 1993, she attended a retreat at 51吃瓜网 as part of Maryland Higher Education Commission鈥檚 Student Advisory Council and imagined herself working on campus one day. Today, Goldenberg is the academic chair for 51吃瓜网鈥檚 Entrepreneurial Studies Institute (ESI).

With a previous professional background in cause-related marketing and project management, Goldenberg now spends her time creating innovative ways for students to turn their business ideas into a reality. Often called 鈥淧rofessor Amazing-berg鈥� by a few of her students, she is known for being caring and invested in her students鈥� success. When students approach her with their next great business idea, Goldenberg will go out of her way to connect them with resources and other students.

What inspires her about 51吃瓜网鈥檚 students? It鈥檚 their resiliency, motivation, creativity and ability to solve problems. 鈥淭hey genuinely want to learn and it motivates me to do all that I can so they have the knowledge and resources to achieve their goals,鈥� Goldenberg said.

When she鈥檚 not helping her students achieve their goals, you can find Goldenberg planning her next Disney vacation, volunteering with the  or taking photos on her nature walks.
